About SMG

I have created this website with the purpose of encouraging other creatives to join me, working in the environment of music, lyric writing, creative writing and art. I am also exhibiting some of my own artworks. Not all of these works are for sale as yet, though enquiries are welcome.

I am a fully trained musician first and foremost, but I also enjoy lyric writing, composing and painting, drawing and doing digital art. I initially trained to be a class music teacher, but my heart wasn’t in it, so I moved to study piano under Margaret Murray McLeod at the Napier University. I played in many bands over the years, and I’ve played the piano in some of Scotlands award winning hotels, namely the Gleneagles hotel and the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews as well as the Crieff Hydro. I’ve also played in many other hotels around the world.
